For many, Nisekoi is just your average romcom harem series. Some may even argue that it has no worth at all, but what many fail to see is just how much Nisekoi is trying to say.
I think it’s time for me to give justice to my favorite manga of all time, first with a video on how it explores the nature of love.
Puella Magi Madoka★Magica is a series thought to have ended in a definite way, that is until Rebellion came and introduced a twist that shattered the very fabric of the story itself. This ending is seen to have created an unnecessary cliffhanger for a story that was done…but what if Madoka and Homura’s story was never complete to begin with? What if the wishes of these two girls who lie at the center of this story remained unresolved? In fact, what were their wishes to begin with?
The answer lies in the power of love…and also how that power has the potential to corrupt.
In the world of Bleach, there is much meaning to be found in a name.The protectors of the balance in this world are known as “Shinigami”, meaning “death god”, and thus is a name that is earned through strength and bloodshed. Amongst these Shinigami, there is a name that stands above all others. A name that, even amongst those who call themselves gods of death, is feared. It’s a name that is power and violence incarnate, it’s the name that belongs to the one who has earned the right to call themselves the strongest Shinigami. In Soul Society, there is only one who can claim this name.
There is only one Kenpachi.
Again, to preface this video, I do not think Sword Art Online is without flaws. I do find the first two seasons to have a LOT of problems. The point is that Sword Art Online has a lot of things it does well, and it all has to do with its core theme: reality.
